About Us

Hello and thanks for visiting! Unfortunately, due to other commitments, AllergyBytes is no longer active. Please explore our videos and check out our book, 7 Ways to Get Your Children to Eat Healthy Food.

Hi, I’m Brynn Elizabeth Hadler.

A few years ago my oldest child was diagnosed with life-threatening food allergies. In fact, multiple allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, soy and shellfish.

Then my younger child developed different allergies, in this case, strawberries.

As if that weren’t enough, cancer entered the picture (parent, not child).

Something had to change.

I worked, studied and researched to find a diet the whole family could eat and enjoy, and which was based on cancer-fighting foods. It also had to avoid foods that don’t pack a big, healthful punch.

It turns out there are some foods that are particularly helpful for people with allergies. I wanted to share this knowledge with other busy parents and AllergyBytes was born.

Wouldn’t you like to create a diet that maximizes not just the health of your allergic child, but also the health of your entire family? Wouldn’t you like to take the guesswork and stress out of mealtimes? If you’d like to do this, talk to me. I’m here for you.

My younger child has outgrown her strawberry allergy and recent testing shows my son is no longer allergic to soy. But we still vigilantly avoid all nuts, peanuts, and coconut, and I am constantly reading the scientific literature to find new safe strategies that have the potential to reduce allergic reactions.

In other words, I am constantly learning. And I would love to have you join me on this journey so we can share ideas and experiences!

What AllergyBytes is not

AllergyBytes is about maximizing health and not about promoting a cure for food allergy. I do believe in seeing an allergist and making sure that a food allergic person has an EpiPen with them at all times.

Now that we’re clear, let’s explore ways to boost our family’s health together.

And just in case you’re curious, prior to starting AllergyBytes, I worked in life science technology marketing, and earned an MBA from Berkeley’s Haas School of Business while raising two children.
